A 72 yr old gentleman underwent a lumbar puncture to rule out spinal meningitis. The doctors, however, did not properly adjust the patient’s anticoagulants and therefore the patient developed post-operative bleeding which precipitated a stroke and ultimately his wrongful death. The case was resolved on the eve of Trial for $1.2 million dollars.
